Bass on St. John's River

I had the opportunity to do some bass fishing in Florida over spring break. Although it wasn't a fly fishing trip, I thought you all would like to see some pictures. We fished with guide, Bob Stonewater, on the the St. John's River about an hour southwest from Palm Coast. The fishing was great. We were able to catch several 5 and 6-pounders, with a couple of 7/8-pounders too. Oh, we also caught way too many 2 and 3-pounders, which are apparently small by Florida standards (but, not in my book).

Hey Grousegunner,

These are nice pictures. It looks like your Dad put you guys to shame. The trout fishing may be a different story. It looks like you had a good time on spring break. I have to admit I would rather be fishing than to be on the beach in Florida.
