I was planning on taking a trip too campsite 53 this weekend and I was wondering where I go or a number I can call to get a backcountry camping permit?

If you are coming from Townsend on Little River Road you can stop at the Sugarlands Visitor Center at the junction of 441, before you turn right to head to Deep Creek trailhead, and fill out your permit there.
