Greetings from the Garden State.
I have been lurking on this site for a while and figured it was time to join in.
Pay my dues, man up, step up to the plate, belly up to the bar.....
Sorry got carried away there....
I have to say reading the posts of the regular contributor's to this site, thank you with a tip of my hat. There is no book or video out there to give you the "real feel" for fishing the Smokies that this message board is able to provide to the reader on a daily basis.
Preparing for my first time down to the Smokies last year, I read each and every post to all the threads. I got a feeling for the streams and charter of them. I learned without ever going to Abrams Falls... don't do it alone, or get a late start, and becareful of where you stand... slate tables at strange angles... (momma raised no foole). I learned from the years of experienced of the fisherman that know theses streams and what works and what only a "foole" would do.
So I am one who hopes never to end up with an "e" at the end of his title, want to thanks you all for the wisdom of your years of fishing The Great Smoky Mountains.
As always, buttering you up for some sweet spots to fish later.
