I will be fishing the holston this weekend and was wondering if anyone could recommend any flies to use and what sizes. I will be fishing a few miles up above naces ferry. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Caddis with a smattering of sulphur I believe will do the trick.
I prefer #15 x-caddis tied with a tan body, ginger shuck, and deer hair for dries. For nymphs you can't go wrong with a #16 green body, and copper bead, and throw is some dubbing for a collar.
For sulphurs, the same stuff everybody is talking about for the Clinch.. same bug.

I would stick with the smaller caddis, #18-20. Olive, green, and black. I've had the most success with these colors and sizes. Can't go wrong with a zebra midge in red or black either, #18-22. Good luck!

wynnsman, did you find that picture online somewhere? I'm trying to find a picture of that fly to copy.
I caught a lot on the holston using a black/copper zebra midge the other day. And a few more on small pt's. I didn't see any hatch that day, but caddis come off pretty good at times.

Thanks, I thought I tried that, but I probably just did a normal search. I appreciate it.
