What kind of thief steals the White Album?...I could see the Zepplin (immigrant song) and the Van Halen (hard hittin' guitar riffs), but the WHITE ALBUM? What a sissy. and what good does a half of a half pint of Vodka do you? That's not enough for a kids cold. Must have been a small theif to think that would do him any good.:p The GOOD NEWS: You have an excuse to go buy new stuff! Buy about $700 worth of new pole and reel and tell the wife it cost $150...Problem solved.

Two things I cannot stand
A liar
and
A thief.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I just hate a thief. To steal a man's property that HE worked DARN HARD to get so the lazy bas***d thief does not have to work for it just stinks.

Watch Ebay and Craigs List, your stuff may turn up.

Gotta go with Lauxier on this one - White Album is a classic. Haven't listened to the whole thing in at least 30 years, just bits and pieces from time to time, but it's on my list of must have albums.

Now to the rest of the story - I feel for you on the loss of your stuff, particularly things that were of importance to your grandson. I pray you can get past the rage and bitterness and rebuild. Having never been violated like this, I can't fully appreciate what you're feeling, but I can pray for some healing.

like Charlie said, will pray for some healing (the forgiveness is up to you) and that you have a chance to start some new memories. The brite side ? You still have your beautiful bride of .....uh...mmm... a few years, I'm sure your grandson still looks up to you like you were the President, and regardless....no person can take your memories of your Father.....

Similar to what Jeff said, ONE thing I can't stand is a liar & a thief. I believe they are one in the same since the liar stole your trust when he lied to you!

wishing you many more new and wonderful memories and by the way.....how was the lasagna?

God Bless & Good Fishing

I absolutely agree. The White Album is great. Just trying to keep things light.:p I don't know what I would do if my gear got stolen. I was robbed twice in college and it was like being punched in the stomach both times. Sorry to hear this happened. It's sad that people feel they have to do this instead of earning their way in life.

I hate a thief! The funny thing is that I drive a pos Honda Civic when I go fishing. I always joke that I dont care if somebody steals my car as long as the leave my rod and reel. Its a shame when your flyrod set up is worth more then your car!

Vote #2 for the Beatles. Maybe not the best but very high on the list.
