Let us know how you do. Those are some good streams to stick a brown.

9/28: Bradley Fork
I left the trcuk around 9:45 and took off up the creek a very short way from the trailhead. There were several vehicles parked and I very well could have gotten behind someone. I Fished a yellow palmer with a rubber leg prince dropper and had a fair amount of success. I was having strikes from larger torut early from 10 until 12 but I could never get a hookset. I had toilet bowls, slaps, and splashes all morning but never could get a hookset on the dry. I eventually took off the dropper after not having a lot of luck. I saw several decent browns in the 10-12" range but couldn't seal the deal. I was a little disappointed with myself, but it happens. After a creekside Vienna feast, I started catching fish on the fly. I ended up with probably 25 rainbows to hand from 12-2. I got to Chasteen Creek and decided I was going to go pull my panthers through. Here is a rainbow with an Orange Palmer: http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm235/Speckleman5/100_0278.jpg Here is a wee guy, maybe the smallest rainbow I have caught on a fly:http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm235/Speckleman5/100_0279.jpgWhen I got out of the creek at Chasteeen Creek this guy was hanging out in the leaves. He never bothered me at all, never moved as a matter of fact. http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm235/Speckleman5/100_0281.jpg

I would have thought the snakes may be in by now, oh well. I think that stretch gets hit pretty hard between the campground and chasteen, there are some pretty nice sized browns up there though. I fished right above chasteen a few years ago in the spawn and managed some rainbows but also saw some good 15"+ browns. At least you got out (unlike some of us) and how about them panthers, that's where i was yesterday!

Yeah, I am pretty sure I as already behind someone even though I was getting a TON of action. I just wanted to get my feet wet a while. I know it gets hit hard, I saw so many tracks I thought the international felt sole 5k had been run up the creek on Saturday. lol. That's alright though, the fishing is just getting good  Those Roush guys are running pretty strong right now....

caught 108

Very nice report. Any leaves changing colors up that way?

They are going to look real good here in a few weeks when they take it to jimmie johnson. Edwards and Biffle are much better drivers and as you can tell by the way they drove at kansas, they want it much more.

Sorry, off topic i know, but my boys are going to whoop some butt.

Anyways, a short trip up chasteen will net you some specs.

Just went and caught the sunset on Waterrock Knob. The leaves are starting to turn up high, it is looking beautiful.
