View Full Version : Happy Casts

Twas the day before Christmas
And all through the park
I guess it is raining
But thatís a guess in the dark

See, Iím stuck over here
In middle Tennessee
But Iím looking forward
To spending time with family

So I guess casting in streams
Will just have to wait
Until we see warmer weather
I hope spring isnít too late

I love this time of year
Though fishing time is rare
But my sons will be home
And laughter and joy will fill the air

There is little that I love
More than casting a fly
But spending time with my
Wife and kids brings a tear to my eye

So I wish you all a joyous holiday
May it be simply sublime
And in the coming year
A thousand casts and many a tight line:smile:

Thank you both for your comments. I enjoy writing little rhymes. That certainly was not my best, but hopefully the message was conveyed in that very brief effort. I do wish all those in the LRO family the best of life in the remainder of this and all of next year.
