Anybody have a good guess what generation on the Clinch will be tomorrow? It looks like 2, but I'd like to have a second opinion.

It looks like 2 to me also. This is the best way to remove dirty water---- send it to Chattanooga.

Tire Guy,

You thought that too...

Yeah, they better get it moving before the EPA Guys get there this week.

Looks like full generation for a while or until they can flush that area out...

I hope everyone got a chance to enjoy all 30 minutes of fishing we were allowed today on the Clinch. The supposed 2-5pm time slot was cut short by about 2 hours.

I was lucky enough to manage a single fish before the sirens went off.

I too was there for the 2 - 5 time slot, and 30 minutes into I also heard the sirens go off. I figured I would stay and fish until I had to get out due to the water. I fished, fished some more...fished some more and then realized that the water still wasn't coming up. I fished till dark without the water ever coming up. I still can't figure out why they sounded the sirens and never released any water?

How bad was the situation with the dam on the Clinch?? I have been on a crappie fishing trip for the past 3 days and had only heard bit and pieces of news about what happen on the Clinch. Can someone fill me in?

I'm really itching to get on the clinch... New Christmas gear that needs some breakin in!

When will the generation schedule level out and become more consistant?

You may as well hang it up for a while. This rain event is just causing the lake level to shoot up again after all the generating was done to bring it down.

I don't expect to make it back out to the Clinch for another couple weeks.

It looks like the Clinch will be off most of the day today, according to the website. There may even be a couple of windows of opportunity for tomorrow too, looking at the predicted discharges. However, predicted discharge for Friday is an average of 9,000 CFS. That is more than I recall ever seeing, maybe they plan to sluice on Friday.

Has anyone been able to break away from work the past couple of days to hit the Clinch?

I wanted to both today and tomorrow but they are pumping water big time now. This stinks. I looked and even the HI looks like it is going to be generating big time! There is no where to go. Maybe the mountains?
