12-31 Tellico

Fished Tellico on the last day of the year. I started out above green cove and caught a very nice variety of both wild and stocked fish. I caught all rainbows except one healthy fat, super dark, 12inch brown. It seemed that when you found one fish you could catch a couple more from the same spot. Not sure exactly what the final count was, somewhere around 15 probably.

I also saw some small stones coming off, quite a few actually, but no rising fish. If you're thinking of going fishing, Tellico looked terrific!!

I was on the Tellico the other day too. Just got to fish for a few hours and did pretty good. I fished below Turkey Creek brought to hand several good size bows. I was fishing olive bh woolly buggers or nymphs under a strike indicator.
