:confused:I am still trying to get my fish for the month of January(or a picture at least). I live in knoxville and was wanting to know the most productive streams to fish this weekend. I would go to the clinch but I think it might be blown out. If anyone knows what the clinch is going to do this weekend I would very much appreciate the help.

Predicted release flows for the Clinch show no change in generation flows for the next 2 days.
I too am looking for my January fish, looks like my streak is about to end.

PeteCz and I went to Abrams today and the trout were hiding well. I saw one trout skittering away and nothing else. Pete struck out as well. The water temp there was 49 degrees by the time we left but the fish apparently had no intention of being caught. It other streams, the water temps were between 40 and 42 so you're going to have to work hard to get that January fish tomorrow. Best of luck.

Hey troutslayer where do you park when going up to Anthony Creek? Do you park in the parking lot across from the ranger station near the cades cove campground store then walk up to the trailhead at the back of the picnic area or can you park in the picnic area itself this time of year?

I park at the picnic area parking lot and fish up then back down, the fish aren't very large...but I have never been skunked there. Its a really good stream to fish when it has rained a lot because the water tends to run out of Anthony creek quickly. I have only caught bows there 3 to 7 inches

I finally decided to go to double camp in citico. maybe catch a bow or a brook......or a tree:biggrin:
