Lynn Camp fishout I assume? Looks like a bunch of fish sticks for dinner. I'd hate to think I had to clean all those.

What is the Lynn Camp Fishout?

long story short:

Lynn Camp prong is a small stream in the Tremont section of the park. There is a large cascader near its confluence with thunderhead prong to form the middle prong of the little river. Above that cascade, the park service is reintroducing brook trout. To accomplish this, they closed the stream last summer and poisoned all the fish in the creek. For a week or so before the poisoning, they allowed people to come and fish out the creek without size or creel limits.

That'll make a bunch of fish sticks. Love grilled trout. Dont eat very much, mostly because I don't usually like to take the time to clean them and then cook them the same day. Don't care much for freezing them either. Seems they just get forgotten about if not eaten soon after catching.

I would have loved to be part of that fishing trip. I understand the reason but after so many years of catch and release I feel guilty to even think of keeping that many fish. But I do understand the reason why and it is good that people got to get in on this verses the poisoning only and all hte fish going to waste.
