Thanks to all who gave advice it came in handy. After carefulling weighing eveyones input and researching water temps and the weather I came up with two streams to fish. We were pretty much after brookies so that narrowed things a bit.

Fished Thursday night not 500 yards off of 321 on Indian Camp and got into a few, by dredging nymphs in deeper pools. Olive Hares' Ears #14 did the trick with "Mo' Lead" than was probably necessary. Sad to see a few rainbows, thought that creek was supposed to only contain specs.

Started off Friday with eggs and Bacon and the clouds beginning to part a little. Went over to Cosby. Got into some good ones almost right off the bat using nymphs again. A weighted Tellico did the trick early. As we rock hopped up the creek bed we started seeing fish shallow, bugs also started popping out. Tons of little stones, black, brown, tan, some even looked a bit like yella sallies. I switched to a dry dropper, yella EHC with an unweighted Tellico off the back. Fish took the dry nine times out of ten. We saw a good many Quill Gordons but the fish didn't seem to want them. Tried dries, wets, emergers but no takers. Must have caught 20 or so apiece with many LDRs.

Saturday came grey and heavy, but the steady rain held off 'till the evening. Tried to fish Green Briar but the top of the mountain must have got more rain over night. Decided to head back to what had worked the day before. Same patterns worked. My buddy was throwing a #14 yella stimi and the fish were hitting that too. A little slower fishing, between the weather and sore lipping them the day before guess they deserved to be a little more reserved.

Can't wait to get back down there again.
