Hey all got in a little fishing Sunday. Fished mainly around the grates and island. Got most on black zebras and then tied on a olive or a white bugger and got a few decent browns near the grates. Ended up with around 10-12 fish with one bow over 12in on a sz 22 sparkle dun....

We have the chance next week to float the Watauga or SoHo. Anyone have any suggestions or been out on either river recently. I have floated the Watauga, but only waded the SoHo. Thanks, Monk

Monktrout,

Most of the guys float the Watauga when they are not generating. The SoHo is very tough to negotiate without TVA running water. There have been some good reports coming from the lower (trophy section) of the Watauga. Let us know how you do.

If you have the chance to float one of them, then for sure go with the Watauga. They are not running hardly at all on the Soho during the day. I would float the Watauga in the morning and hit the Soho later in the day.

MtnMike and Wynnsman, Thanks for the advice on the Watauga. I'll let you know how we do. Monk
