Spectacular dry fly fishing on the D this past Friday and Saturday. The best day was Friday in between downpours. Hatches of Quill Gordons, March Browns, and Ginger Quills 14-16. Very impressive surface activity. The D has some big fish and they were active on top for a change. If you can get to the river do it - this is a great time for dry fly fishing. (This report does not include the hatchery section - I usually don't fish there and the hatches are very different from the rest of the river). Good Luck!!
