This is for you, Brett. I saw you complain that no one ever posts to the fly tying section, and you're absolutely right. so I thought I'd throw a few pics up here.

David, I'm way ahead of you buddy. here you go. it's a little out of proportion, but it's a start. this is a size 8. we'll probably need some size 2's....

Nicely done Trevor. Love the Salmonfly, unfortunately I have never had the opportunity to fish one or even see a real one.

Where are you all headed? Did I miss something...Yellowstone trip number II? Nice ties Travis!

Brett, it's too soon to know for sure. I don't wanna jinx myself, but possibly Colorado III, with maybe a little Yellowstone II thrown in. Here's salmonfly try #2. I like this one much better.

Trevor, if you could send me some info on tying that second salmonfly pattern that would be awesome. If you have a link to a tutorial or a recipe or something...

David M, do you mean the recipe to tie it, or where to buy it? LRO carries them if you want to buy them. If you want to tie it, look at Fishermansfly's post and click on the link below to go to his excellent tying site. I believe he has a tutorial for it on there.

when do the cicadas come out, I can't remember. I plan on tying some up and feeding them to some urban carp
