Anyone been to SW NC lately to fish the Nantahala DH or the Tuck?

Haven't seen the Nan, but came by the Tuck on Hwy 74 several hours ago and it was raging and off. We've had over 5 inches of rain in the past week. Whenever the water goes down the fishing should be dynamite.

I haven't been to the Nantahala lately, but I have been travelling up the Tuck quite a bit lately as the lake bug has hit me and I have been chasing Walleye and found this guyhttp://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm235/Speckleman5/100_0761.jpgThey have been releasing water pretty often, and it has been hard to get in to fish it. They did however drop a couple of the lakes a couple feet this past week. So I assume they will be returning to their regular generation schedule.

Wow, I have not seen a walleye that big in a long time. I fished the Tuck before all the rain and hammered them. Mostly on BHHE and caddis. Have fun.

You are a brave soul to lip that walleye.
