I spent May 23-27th in the Smokies. The first thing I did when I got into Townsend was to stop at Little River Outfitters. I purchased some new fly line, flies, and a few other odds and ends. The staff graciously put my new fly line on my reel while I picked at my flies at no extra charge. They even gave my 9 month old little girl a sucker! I have been in fly shops from the Keys to Alaska, and Little River Outfitters is second to none. Thanks for carrying quality equipment and backing it up with unbelievable service.
I was able to fish 3 days with my dad, which was great as we live 3 hours apart. We fished all over the park and caught fish each day. The first afternoon, after leaving Little River Outfitters, my wife, daughter and I drove through Cades Cove and fished Forge Creek for about an hour. I caught several bows and we had a great time. This was my daughter's first trip to the Smokies and the first trout she has ever seen.
I will post some pictures later - once I figure out how!
Thanks Little River and see you at the end of the month.
