There have been significant additions to the Little Pigeon River system map since the previous post including trail hiking distances per the 2007 NPS GSM Trail Map. Main things remaining: Topo contours at 2,000 & 4,000 feet and at 200 ft increments at additional selected streams.... plus much more proofing.
2/15 Update: Deleted map link previously posted.
If curious, Trout Branch is a tributary of Walker Camp Prong. It's the third stream entering WCP from the left up from The Loop in Newfound Gap Road.

Sam, I've never fished LeConte Cr nor do I know of anyone that has. So I can only pass on what I've read. Fish would be small, quality: fair below and poor above Rainbow Falls. Fishing pressure: moderate. Just be prepared to be observed by the many hikers often present.

I have caught several nice bows where this trib flows into Walker Camp....once the creek goes under the road and up the mountain the water gets awfully skinny....sure it would all depend on how much water had been in works lately....there used to be a sign designating the streams name with a huge maple tree that was always one of the first to turn its colors in the early fall...alas, both now are gone

Rog, interesting that there was once a sign. Was this a Park Service sign?
There are some great names of streams in the park, and undoubtebly great stories behind them, but other than those for which trails were named, they shall remain anonymous to most park visitors.

I had to watermark the map for business reasons. Sorry for any inconvenience.
TIP: Unfortunately printing this entire map using Acrobat is no longer an option. However, you can zoom in and print specific portions of the map at pretty good quality by cutting (using Alt-Print Screen on the PC) the Acrobat window and then pasting into WordPad, your word processor, etc. The print results you get will depend on a number of factors including the extent of the area selected, screen resolution setting, document orientation and margin sizes.
Hope this proves useful.

The Little Pigeon map has been revamped to the new format. Previously this and other maps had been available for viewing for free, which is still the case for the Little River map. I regret having to limit access some, but I am keeping the download price as low as possible.
2/15 Update: Deleted map links previously posted.
Thank you for your interest in the maps. You comments/questions are always welcome.
