Question for Sam

Sam, I talked to you at the visitor center before hiking up the nanway up Injen Creek. There are a lot of foundations back there, was this a separate community or was this part of Treemont. We hike back toward the cemetery but turn back after about a mile. How much father out is it. By the way, out of the 25-30 miles we hiked that week that was one of our favorites.
By the way, you need to write a book with all the knowledge you have.

injun creek was one of several communities within greenbrier....most were up "hollers" occupied by many members of the same family. the cemetery is accessed at an intersection...probably halfway to the back country campsite (3 miles out)...turn right at the intersection (sign says e.e. mccarter cemetery)...follow manway down old fence line, bear right thru rhodie thicket and up the hill to the cemetery...
