Well I just got back from my Bahama trip and all I can say is that I stayed in the coolest place, do-it-yourself fishing at it's best bones permit and others great place for families as well with snorkeling reefs use of a tiller steer boat, A flat screen TV WiFi A awesome owner that I drank Kalik and Rum with nightly he is a former Marine and Continetal pilot. Anyone wnating more info plaes ask cuz I got lots of pics of the house, the cost was $ 900.00 fir the week and I fished constantly, he also can hook you up with great guides which I did once, owner is also part owner of a deep sea fishing boat that he will take you out in to chase Mahi for the price of gas! Like $ 50.00 for something that costs 700 plus! I get nothing for referals but anyone wanting to take a shot at some awesome fishing this is the place!

Bro Watched that big shark mate! Like 15 yards away she turned completly upside down, wild! They are totally docile and have no interest in eatin ya, by the end of the week I was chasing them off the flats cuz deh don't get along wit da Bones mon! Neither do the cuda, which i saw a few. It is like the discovery channel out there turtles star fish bones permit just awesome and all for only $ 900 bucks a week plus food and airfare but wow , fish till ya drop!

Yea man there were sharks that were literally 1.5 feet to 6.5 feet the big uns were Nurse's @ were mating so I didn't get in the way! One time i walked out cuz I thought it was one big one and there were 2 a big female the male came around and headed at me, 10 feet away if that, but as soon as i retreated slowley he turned back to business! The little 1-3 footers I got to where i ran at em yelling and causin a fuss, the bones DO NOT like sharks! I like em though, served with Cocktail Sauce fried golden brown!

Oh Abaco yeah that place is incredible. I stayed at a house that we rented for a week in 2004 on lubbers quarters key just west of elbow key and it was an awesome place for just about $1000 a week. Only solar power and water was from a cistern but really a nice place to get away from it all. Rented a little boat to get there and took it to all kinds of totally deserted islands where we would spend the day snorkeling and exploring. I didn't get to fish but saw tons of sharks, starfish, you name it. I love that place and hope to go back someday. Carolina Boy I drank my fair share of Kalik's when I was down there too and had lots of cracked conch over at hopetown...

Great place, can't wait to go back, and if you do pack the rods! Some of the greatest fishing, I love the stalk and the explosive runs of dem bones, Kalik Gold twice the strength and just as expensive!

Carolina Boy, Could you throw me an email of the contact info. I feel more comfortable in the mountains but my Dad could be a beach bum. I think he would get a kick out of a trip like this. Thanks! richieshaw@yahoo.com
