Let's get out there this month, and show us what you caught.

Please remember to include location and fly used. If you don't want to list the river, just give an area description (ex. GSMNP blue line, TN tailwater, NC DH, etc.) Also, if you don't want to give away you super secret fly just say dry, nymph, or streamer.

Good Luck.

Since I may not get out again this month, I may as well post one from today. Image quality is terrible, I didn't realize that I was holding the fish too close for it to focus properly.

Anyway, this is one of a few from today at Big Ridge State Park.

This is one of the catches from this week here in alabama. Those special poppers LRO sells work good. Caught this one about 8:00 am.

Cutting it close this month. I've caught a few fish, but wasn't sure that I had any pictures. Headed out to the SoHo in heavy rain this morning. Noticed that the river was up and the water clarity down as I was driving up the stream. Decided to go ahead and fish the dry and dropper rig for a little while. Didn't take long to decide that the dropper wasn't necessary, they were rising to dries very well. Caught several fish like this on a sulphur
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr146/MtnMike-photos/IMGP0444.jpg

A little before noon the sulphurs quit coming off. I had about an hour before generation and decided to fish back downstream with a streamer. About half-way back down the sulphurs started back in full force and then it started to rain hard. Here I am chunking a big streamer in nasty rain and wind and fish are rising everywhere to sulphurs! I had a bunch of short strikes and landed a few decent rainbows and missed one good bow. And then...Wham! Not a huge fish, but a very nice 17-18" brown to end the day
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr146/MtnMike-photos/IMGP0445.jpg

Nice way to end a couple of good hours fishing!

That's a massive net, then

I don't know what it is, but SoHo browns are much prettier than Caney browns.

SoHo browns are by and large naturally reproducing aka streamborn/wild fish. You wanna see pretty browns take a look at some from the Smith river in Va.

That is strange, it is showing up on my computer. It may be something with the web host. I will try again later.

Zenfolio security settings were set to private for that image. Strange.
