weekend at Indian Boundary

The lake is full and fishing fairly well. The bass are very active in the afternoons on topwater. Trollers are picking up crappie out in the middle of the lake.

I took an 8wt for slinging the big flies but I was having so much fun fishing my little 6.5ft glass 3wt, I didn't pick it up very often.

Best fly this weekend was a size 8 mini firetiger stealth bomber. The bream and little bass love it.

caught a few on a white #6 SB also. the fish are nicely colored in this lake.

Nice Pics Gary! Glad you got away and had a good time. I really like that area and the lake is beautiful with the mountains right up next to it.

It is Indian Boundary lake off the Cherohala Skyway about 5 miles from the Tellico river.

The lake is for non gas powered boats only. kayaks, canoes, and jon boats are the most common. You can use a trolling motor.
