I've watched several of Mr. Cammiss' demonstrations. You really have to respect the finishing without the use of a whip finish tool and only his fingers.

Actually, I had more trouble with a whip finisher in the beginning and just finished by hand. It backfires sometimes and knots up too early:biggrin:

I've never seen anyone do a hand whip finish quite the way he does, and I've seen quite a few:smile:

I've seen his videos and they are good but the patterns are mostly still water my favorite videos on youtube are by DavieMcPhail. (http://www.youtube.com/user/DavieMcPhail)
They are great and he seems like an amazing fly tyer.
