Asking for all to cross a few fingers and speak to the sky for me. My kid Sister has been wining/battling Stage 4 Ovarian cancer for the last four years and is now at a "junction". So if you believe, and if you want, please send one up for all like her.
Thanks, Jim

I can pray and cast at the same time. I will be sending one up from Tellico
River today. She has a lot going for her in having a brother who is concerned.

...will be in our prayers. By way of encouragement, our Church was asked to pray for a fellow last year that had cancer. He is a cattleman and was found passed out in a field last year. They rushed him to the hospital and he was diagnosed with inoperable cancer in his liver and brain.

Just a couple of weeks ago the Dr. had him come in to see what was going on as he should have by all rights been dead. They decided that he needed some injections to help "balance" his blood counts and in order to prepare for them, he was re-examined. Later when the Dr. called him to speak with him about their course of action, the Dr. said, the only cancer we can find is a tumor in your liver and it is dead so we are going to operate in order to remove the dead tissue.

Said all that simply to say that miracles still happen and we are praying for one for your sister and your family.

God Bless,
Mike

Jim...My mother was a mountain girl raised in Sevierville and lost her battle to the same cancer...I will surely pray for your sister and her battle to beat this illness. Miracles do happen....my best friend and fishing buddy has been cancer free for four years and my father-in-law has been cancer free going on two years now...I have always thought of the mountains as God's country so maybe he is just a little closer for all the prayers being offered up for your sister.....God Bless.

You think you're having a rough stretch of life and then you hear a story such as this. Our prayers and thoughts are with your sis and family right now! Remember the poem "Footsteps", I think that is the title, When we look back and see only one set of footprints, It was then that Lord carried us through our burden. flyguys

Jim--As the old-time mountain folks used to say, you don't know me from Adam's off ox, but all of us on this forum are brothers and sisters of the angle. I'll offer one bit of thought along with a prayer--take faith in the fact that the good earth never, ever lets us down, and cling to the good earth in your time of trouble. Jim Casada
