BREAKING NEWS: 08/14/09 - Little River Road Closed

On Friday 8/14/09 Little River Road is closed between Metcalf Bottoms and the Elkmont Campground due to rockslide. It will likely be closed for the weekend. The National Park is working to clear the slide.

Man, wish I could go fish this weekend. This would be a great time to hike in on the road and fish without all the tubers...

the repairs will continue until at least monday...an estimated 30 truckloads of debris will have to be removed
