I swear I saw a few come off on the Middle Prong last weekend, but I've never seen them mentioned or on a hatch chart. Any one else seen this?

have never heard of Hendricksons this late. Hendricksons (sulphurs) should be done on most rivers around here except SoHo. There are a white mayfly coming off until mid september as well as a Little Dark Olive mayfly. What size do you estimate the ones you saw to be?

Maybe it was Isonychia's, they are more dark like Hendricksons, you got me puzzled.

They were size 10-12. Light Gray body and wings with a pinkish head. Bigger than all the other flies hatching by far. I saw one or two brown flies that resembled March Browns, but that's just a guess, that were about 3/4ths of their size, but none as big.

Either way, these flies were beautiful. I think I am going to try and borrow a high res video camera and film some hatches next time I come. If I see it again, I'll film it and post it. I may just post some of the hatches so we can have fun trying to ID them.
