just had to say arrrg...

I was tying some flies today and I guess a pack of feathers fell out on the floor and I didn't notice it. That is, I didn't notice it until I saw a pile of feathers on the kitchen table when I got home from fishing tonight.

Arrg, the wife's dog got ahold of them.

Fortunately, it wasn't one of my really good (and expensive) dry fly capes. It was a bunch of strung hen hackle that I use for woolie buggers and assorted soft hackle flies. NO great loss and most of the feathers are still usable.

Wow, if it wold have been one of my fry fly capes or saddles, I would have been quite upset.

Yes, it was my fault and I can't blame the mutt, err the little puppy.

At least you didn't buy $5000 worth of new furniture to have each piece chewed in some way by a lab pup. I won't even go into breaking out of his cage and tearing up a room full of carpet.

I bought my wife an $800 mahogany cario for christmas the in august we got 2 new puppies who decided to eat the corners off this piece of furniture. They also eat the blind and the corner off the night stand. Pets are great but darn they are destructive. I think next time I will just by a goat and call it done. HA HA

The answer to that is, they are mine at that time. Madison river is my little blonde chihuahua and mckenzie sage is my black chihuahua. Even though they cost me a cario they love there daddy.

Paula, when she's not chewing feathers, of course she's my dog. When she's getting into my feather stash, she's Leslie's dog. That was about the easiest question anyone's asked me today.

Here's a picture of the feather bandit. She has a lot of "personality" (a euphemism for "bad girl").

My dog is always my dog, but I do ask her what she intends to do about "her" dogs behavior when he's bad. I always get an unusual look from her when I ask that.
