I was in the smokies a few weeks ago and as always stopped by LRO to pick up a few supplies. Down here in Bama land we do alot of bass fishing. So I decided to pick up some stuff and try my hand at a few poppers. This is what turned out. If you have some photos of some poppers you have tied please post them for us all to see.

Flyred06,

Great looking poppers!!!! Like you bass and bream are in the front yard. I watched the bass scooling today around 2 pm, a couple of those bugs would have lit them up. I've treid my hand at popper construction, and I'm going to need much more practice. I tried to cut my own bodies from cork. Didn,t work. Now wer,re even I'll be see'in the shrink and eatin' prozak, popper envy LOL. Again good looking bugs

Good Job... Never tied any poppers. However, I love throwing them for bass this time of year.

Those are really nice Flyred. I love fishing poppers for bass and bluegills. Cold beverage, small box full of poppers, and a pretty girl to row me around in the John boat is hard to beat on a lazy summer afternoon.
