This isn't an entry, or current for that matter, but it made me smile
This was at my graduation party in May, always practicing, even attempting to teach friends  His expression and body language cracks me up.

Ha ha... Charlie, I'm not sure corn flies and "sluice-way nymphs" (AKA Pellet Flies) would really fit the image Byron has so carefully established for LRO.
I did get the materials to make it from LRO though. Just don't tell Paula and Byron what I did with it...

With the water up so high in the Smokeys, I decided not to take a chance so I took a picture of the first fish I caught today. As it turns out, the first four fish got progressively larger so here they are. All on a #14 Orange Palmer.

just luck on a pig like that was fishing on the 10 and it rained like 3.5 in that day i was soaked. Dont want to give away all my spots. i will just say it was in a long riffle and a wider part of the stream. if you know the water it shouldnt be hard to find where im talkin about.

NIce catch alflygirl. Looks like you were having more fun than just trying to catch a fish for the post. LOL. The water behind you looks great, wish I was there. Hope you didn't catch them all.

Rachel, you're in with room to spare. Nice one - one of these days I'll catch one that it takes two hands to hold.
Now the fun starts as we get into the cold months.

Not much time on the water this month, my work schedule and the generation schedules have not been very compatable. Finally got a chance to hit the Watauga Wednesday afternoon before the Thanksgiving weekend only caught a few, but caught this pretty little brown on a size 22 midge fished under a sulphur
http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr146/MtnMike-photos/IMGP0947.jpg
She gave a nice little fight, first time I've been on the Watauga in a while. I enjoyed it. May have to fish there a little more if they keep generating on the SoHo.

I didn't have a digital camera with me so I took the picture with my cell phone...I guess that's why it's so small.
