You heard right. We used to catch walleye by accident when trolling night crawlers for big browns. Scary looking fish, but GOOD EATING! It's one of the few fish I can eat.

i think i asked it wrong lol. i know there are walleye below Center hill i have caught about 10 -12 this yr. and a buddy caught two about 7-8lbs this yr.

i heard some one caught one like 16 or so lbs. i was just wondering if anyone knew about this or knew of some pics. cause my friend that seen it said it was scary big.

state record was 25 lbs from ole hickory,i caught 4 walleye from the littleT that went 38 lbs total one day catch, day before we had 20 in snow. must been the weather. not with a flyrod, my personal best on walleye boy did they eat good in the snow.

Walleye are a relative to pike (correct?), they at least have very close similarities. So, I can see walleye getting big but the biggest we've caught is maybe 5 pounds.
