Any news on the condition of the Nanny DH?

I heard a few weeks ago they were diverting all flow through the DH.
Is it still like that?

Yep. Starting today they have upped the release to 700 cfs. That's at least 3 times its normal flow. The lower Nan is as high as it is during peak summer rafting season.

Does that mean the DH area is unfishable?

I haven't been up there since last winter, and was looking to go up there soon.

Without question. It is not fishable. I rode up the road Saturday morning and the only eddys you could see were on the inside of some of the sharp bends in the river. I'm not a paddler but I'd guess the first three miles from the powerhouse is now at least a class 4 whitewater river. The top mile thru the cascades is maybe class 5.
