Where to fish???

A buddy of mine has a lake house on the Clinch, and he invited me to come up next Thursday (1-29) to do some fly fishing. With all the rain there is a great chance that the Norris will still be generating by this time.

I will be coming from Nashville, and really just want to have a chance at catching some fish. I was wondering what other locations yall might recommend in an hours distance around Knoxville. We are just looking for a spot that we might have a chance to catch some fish and is wadable. We are not particular on tailwaters...so any and all recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Another option is the Holston below Cherokee. However, I wouldn't hold my breath that either will be wadeable.

G-burg, Paint Creek, or Tellico will about your only options after the monsoons are over.

I believe all the rivers and streams will be high this weekend.

Waterwolf mentioned the few that would probably be fishable.

You could always drift the Clinch and throw streamers and bank hug...:smile:
