I'm bored with the current discussion, so fire away (pun intended).

they'd do about as much damage to trails as horses!

When tanks are outlawed, only outlaws will have tanks!

When tanks are allowed it will be like the wild west out there...

I want an anti aircraft, heat seeking, 4 track tank with a deployable self setting bridge attachment. Then if bears become a problem I might have to step it up a bit.

Would hate to be camped next to one of those when they fired up the generator in the morning....wouldn't have to worry about leaks in one's waders.

You mean I am the only one who is ready for battle?

I'd call in a kinetic air strike.

Maybe not quite as much as horses. I don't think tanks leave excrement at every turn of the trail.

This is my tank for special occasions. You can tell by my wife's face that she wasn't as into it.

What if the tank driver is a trigger happy "everyone is out to get me" kinda guy?

Look, if he sees a bear, he has the right to drawn down and fire...just sayin'

"Gunner, Bear, 1000 meters, H.E., Seven Zero Degrees, Fire!"

"On the way!"

"End of mission, one black bear destroyed in the vicinity of phase line brook trout, 200 meters left of TRP one, out."

I can't believe I read through all these posts, but I did.

Being born and raised in the Boston area, I hate to stereo type a group of people...

But...

Couple this post with that one of a road in NC that goes no where and people want money for not having it finished.. you know the promise of 1943...

You are really making it difficult for me.

But I do think the tank made out to look like a NASCAR really did it.

Next, Elvis as the tank commander and Earnhardt as the driver, this will forever be known as the Kamikaze Tank Crew.

I have to say you boys are the best! I got a "Hoot" out of it...

Tank Driver: But Mr. Ranger, sir, my last #16 parachute Adams was stuck about 30 feet in that tree.

Ranger: So, you blew the tree down with a round from your tank?

Tank Driver: Well, yes sir, I did. Can you think of another way to get my fly back?

Ranger: I long for the good old days when only criminals had tanks in the park.

You this is me, fire for effect, trout eating bear in the open, 6 rounds DPICM, over.

Now all I have to do is figure out how to conceal it!

This is the kind of stuff that would result from several too many beers while waiting for the water to go down after a rain....I didn't see a LRO logo on that tank...might be able to convert one of those whippy antennas into a full flex flyrod in a pinch.

The LRO sticker is on the back of the turret so people can see it, while they eat my dust, as I drive up the gravel road at Treemont.

I have a Sherman on order. When the bears and otters are taken care of
lets go to Boston. I always wanted to shoot a can of Baked beans or a
can of Clam Chowder.

Well being prior NAVY, I suppose this'll do the trick in high water conditions... funny, I didn't see these near the ultrathon and other repellants at the shop...Daniel - where do you keep the good stuff???

You can stay in Swine Co. NC and spend a life time doing it right there.

You can start tonight at your dinner table.

I think park regulations as of February allow tanks as long as they are concealed and you have a permit.

If I may make a suggestion.

For a real cultural shock for you Bama-Boys, head on over to East Boston's Little Italy.

They serve their spaghetti on a plate, not in a bowl.

Fingers are not permitted, ask the waiter, he will show you how to use a fork.

As always, more than willing to teach the unwashed.

Due to the "magic" of the internet, I am not located in NC, thought you would have figured that one out, since you are so evolved, but it appears you are more simple that I had "reckoned" you to be.

Oh come on now boys, I was just having some fun myself.. look even BlueRaider was having fun giving it right back. He didn't too well.. maybe if he added "AH' to the end of almost every word it would be closer to the way I speak. As in FingAH's...

You can't be that thin skinned now can you?

Besides, the bit about the bowl, you have to admit now that was funny.. come on admit it.

But if you are that thin skinned, here is a FingAH for you....
