I fished the Clinch yesterday evening when the storm front was moving through. The fish were actually quite active. I checked the Miller's Island Ramp first for fishing capability. The river was extremely low and I was numerous Redds exposed. Also, the wind was blowing W-E and it was coming right off the mountains and blowing very hard.
So, I headed to Peach Orchard. The scene was quite different there. The mountains had most of the wind blocked and it was relatively calm. The water temp was 52 due to excessive run off from Coal Creek and the lack of generation. Also, it was fairly stained, but fish-able. I produced a few results by fishing my March Brown BHPT with a light green hot spot on the underside.
Sorry no pics of the fish...had to use my phone to get these two and the fish were not worth a pic...
