Don't make it to the water near as often as I used to since we had kids, so when I'm out there the fishing seems more special than when trips were more frequent. Last time out got me to thinking about the two or three most important considerations to yield a more successful trip as far as fish count is concerned. It was difficult to contain to just a couple words, so for what it's worth here are my four most important words : Knowledge gained, properly executed. No expounding on that here as I have limited time, however I hope that some of you will share your thoughts with us as to your words that carry the most value towards a successful fish to hand outing. May God bless you with His best.

"I'm sorry, my fault"

at least that is what She-who-must-be-obeyed expects:biggrin:

"I'm sorry, my fault"

at least that is what She-who-must-be-obeyed expects:biggrin:

And the equally valuable:
"You're right, I'm sorry..."

My father's favorite four words..."It's all about family"...due to my grandfather's passion for fishing I am going to fudge on the word count but I have adopted his often repeated response to my grandmother's inquiry as to when to expect him home from his favorite pursuit...."I'll be home when you see me."

When on the water..."Think like a fish..."
For just about everything else - "Improvise, Adapt and Overcome..." Goes well with fishing too...
