I'm really wanting to get up there this week, but I have about 2 minutes of business I need to do and it has to be on Wed. - is there reliable, free wi-fi in Townsend. It means around $250 if I can't get to a connection to get it done. So, that's why the "reliable" part...

Thanks guys,

If you're staying there, Tally Ho Motel has wi-fi. My son used it in April to download a song from iTunes. (don't ask and I won't tell).

Thanks guys. I am actually planning on (as of right now) camping at Elkmont. Can't afford to stay anywhere but a campground at the moment. Hope the trout are rising!

We have a full T-1 at the shop. You are always welcome to plug in here.

Thank you Byron. I also have about 10,0000 songs I'd like to illegally download. Would that be alright too? I'm guessing so. ;) heh.

Seriously, I am in need of some new boots - but I may or may not be coming in that way( from TN). If I do come in TN, you're the first shop I get to......but I'm looking for that nasty old felt, so I run a higher chance of finding that in a size 12 the more shops I stop at. It's purely logistical - I know for a fact that the last 10 times I have bought anything flyfishing( other than one pair of emergency gravel guards) it's been with LRO. Looks like I'm outta luck with you folks - I see one size 13 somethin' or other in felt. So, I'll try the other two shops on the way up through NC, and if no one has it, I'll be coming to you guys to buy some new slipper-bottomed shoes and cleats. :) ( If it weren't for a bad back and a bad left knee, I'd just swap over to rubber, since it looks like they are all going to go that way anyway. )

Thanks a ton,

Good to know these WiFi hot spots. It will allow me to keep in touch with my fans while attending Troutfest. Good thing, cause I already know that my walkie talkie shoe thingy doesn't work well in Townsend:biggrin:

Just reminding you fools that most cellphones connect to wi-fi too. So you can search the internet, email, etc. on you cellphone for free if you change over your connection setting to wi-fi. Works great in most hotels too...
