My 1st GSM trip

I got into Townsend a little later than I had planned on and didn't get to fish Friday and Saturday I woke up a little quezzy :redface: and didn't fish long before heading to Troutfest then back home. I did manage to catch my first GSM Little River fish..

I look forward to a better trip next time and will be sure to pack some Pepto:rolleyes:

It sure is a pretty place isn't it and I beleive that is what they call a war paint shiner, maybe the hills people call it the creek warrior.

It was good to see you yesterday, Earl, if only for a short while. Kim and I left for home just after lunch but enjoyed our time there at Troutfest. The Cherokee fishing and trip was a blast and we can't wait to get back up there!

gmreeves--Yep, same fish, and the name you use is the one you will find in books. The vivid red stripe obviously explains both names.
