Anyone have any opinions on these? Im looking to get a pair of breathable waders, nothing real fancy. I am definately wanting to go with Simms and trying to decide between these and the Freestone series. I dont really know if there is a huge difference in the two or not besides the hand warmer pouch on the freestones. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have an older pair of the Simms Freestone which are very similar to whtat they are today calling the blackfoot waders. I've had them about 3 or 4 seasons now and I'm not real easy on Waders. They have served me well and are still working fine. A little dampness around the bootie but nothing serious.
I haven't seen the new freestones yet but if they do have extra layers of fabric or anything to beef them up a bit, I'd probably go with them just because I'm not very easy on waders. Then again, the old freestones are now on their 3rd or 4th season (can't remember) and have held up well.
I know this was a little circular but hope it helped.

I've got the Blackfoots, and I've been using them for 2 years now. I haven't had any leak issues, I love them to death.

I have a pair now on their second year and they seem fine, I wear them when it gets hot as they are lighter weight and more comfortable. I also have a pair of the expensive ones and they are fine as well. Simms products cannot be touched for quality, durability, and comfort. Period.
