South Holston

Question from a friend:

"I have seen several posts by folks who fish in the Johnson City area and I would appreciate information about floating the South Holston and/or Watauga Rivers the weekend after the 4th of July. I will be floating in a MBB Freestone Skiff and need to know about access points, effect of generation and any other advice you can share with me.

soho must have generation. watuaga can float without it or with. on the watuaga put in at blevins road and take out is just before watuaga road at the twin bridges. on the soho put in at the weir and float to praders in the evening for the best action prader will shuttle any where on the soho for 20 or 25 and there is a guy on the watuaga that does but i cant remember his name.
