Im going to be playing in a golf tournament in the Shelbyville, TN area and thought that I would do a little fishing while i'm up there. Was wanting some feedback on how the duck is fishing now and what flies are working best.

I was up there last week. The fishing for me was just ok. My luck seemed to stick with pheasant tails, black zebra midges, and olive wooly buggers.

I was there a couple days ago and the fishing was decent.
There are plenty of trout still to be caught, and other warmwater species as well. I ended up catching a couple smallies, a walleye, and about 10 rainbows in a couple of hours.
This river does not holdover through the heat so since we've been experiencing such a hot summer already I'm not sure how great the trout fishing will be in the near future. I use mostly the same flies when I go there...BHPT, Prince, Copper Johns, Maribou Jigs (white), and midges.
Make sure to get their early...it was already blazing hot by 9 AM.
