So here is my thought of the day. Biggest problem that @rachhillis (http://twitter.com/rachhillis) and I have when we want to travel somewhere to fly fish, besides not catching fish, is where is the water access? My thought is to create a series of fly fishing maps of creek and streams where people can access local waters to wet a line and enjoy the local fisheries.
I have two thoughts on this idea:
1) Some places are so crowded to fish because most people from out of town only now a couple access point and that is where people bunch up.
2) This would not be very popular with some because it would be perceived to “give away secret spots”
Would love to hear what the fly fishing world thinks about this idea. So let them rip.
