I have been so busy this past week, I completely forgot about the challenge. Here is the July thread, and I will try to post the June results soon.

Thinking about guiding to help some interested folks. I am not cheap; and I may not be worth it...I guarantee one **** of good time and some new techniques for fish... I rarely offer my time to the public...Most of you on this board will not see me post again for a year or two...

I charge $1,000 a day; unlimited - you pick the river/stream; I make it happen. If you are interested; give me a shout; I will make it happen for you. The rest of the year is my time...

Anyone else wondering what the heck this is and why it is in the photography section?

Madison, put the bottle down.

Been hunting warmwater species all month long. Here is my first redeye of the year from Little River on one of Byron's special stealth bombers.

Also caught a few of these over the past couple weeks as well:

ChemEAngler, how many on average redeye's have you caught during trips?

Justin,
This trip is the first of the year where I caught a redeye. My other warm water exploits were on waters where I was specifically targeting smallies, bluegill, or carp.

I only fished from around 2:00 to 3:30 and think I brought 5 redeye and 2 smallies to hand. Although I missed plenty more fish on the black stealth bomber Byron gave me. I tried a couple other colors, but I think they were targeting this one because it was a very good imitation of a black cicada. Saw some hefty bronzebacks, but spooked them all. I am anxiously awaiting my next trip to the river, and I will plan on being out there shortly after sunrise next time.

Yep. Ontario. They are a blast but I can't see myself driving somewhere in the south east to try for one. I would love to be able to do it but doubt I would be able to invest the time to find them and actually bring one up. The lake we go to I have fished all my life and we have several smaller lakes in the vicinity that we portage to that have eager musky. They are smaller than the main lake but there are plenty of numbers. We landed 14 that day from the small lake the biggest being 34" but they averaged 26"-28". Most all of them were on poppers which makes it really fun.

I do, but not the most recently posted pic! *curse you David*

I was torn between posting an average brown, or this above average sunfish. I left my SD card in the other room, so out of laziness, the sunfish wins.

Yeah, I knew this was on here somewhere. I just did not feel like searching for it...Actually, I would not guide anyone for $1,000. Too much headache to give someone a thousand dollar experience for anything.
