Pisgah NF

Made it out last weekend to do some feeshin. Recipee for staying cool is high elevations and cold water. Lots of fish doesn't hurt either. I don't keep an exact count but if I was a bettin man I'd say between the two of us we caught 100+ throughout the day. Elevation was around 4500-5000 ft. Water temps were 60 degrees f. Flies of the day for me were TN Wulff on the top, green beadhead inchworm. My partner in crime had luck on a Palmer in several different colors, with yellow being the one to produce the most.

All in all it was an awesome day in God's country. Our great state of NC has some truly beautiful places and I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather spend a day off work (till bow season anyways).
