Thought I might share a few pics. from yesterday morning, battery was dead Sat. morning  so no pics. from that trip. Both mornings produced double digits, with Sat. being the best. Had to go high but did find 60* water and plenty of brookies, with a few bows mixed in.

That first bow sure has been eating well. His belly looks kind of like mine.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger.... lol

Had a question for you guys that I forgot to ask above. Had several of the trout I caught that had been hooked in the side, toward the front end. Always with the dropper. Is this from the hook set on the dry and then the dropper being yanked into them?

Perty water and perty fish.

Yep, that first rainbow is fat. Did you catch him on a dozen donut imitation fly?

I think so from time to time, I foul hook a few, not intentionally. Last week, I had one come out of the water to nail the dry, he missed and I never set the hook. A few seconds later, my dry went under, I pulled him out and he foul hooked himself went he went back into the water.

ifish.............

think I ate that fly with the doughnuts.

As far as the "foul hooks", it just bugs me to do that. I try to do my best to return the trout unharmed, kinda wonder how they heal from it.
