Few bear pics

Yesterday, the wife and I took a drive up to the spot in Cades Cove where we were married two years ago. We saw several bears hanging around and in cherry trees. These are a few of the better pics.

55-200mm and I was wearing Crocs.

He was digging around for something and did not care that I was there. Watched him for about 20 minutes until he climbed up in a cherry tree.

Did you notice any camera lens caps in the scat? :biggrin: (just joking - really nice quality photographs).

The top two are fantastic, especially the color of his fir from the sunlight! Everytime I have seen a bear in the Cove it's always too early and dim lighting because he's in the woods. If I only lived closer......
