Since I lost my job of 30 years in mid 2009 due to a company consolidation, I have been spending more time on one of my hobbies - painting. I chose trout as the subjects of my paintings b/c my husband is an avid fly fisherman, and the paintings were for him.
I call my work "functional art' because all of the paintings are on small furniture or decorative items such as trays, boxes, stools and tables.
I now have a website at www.TroutPainter.com (http://www.troutpainter.com/) to showcase my work.
Here is my latest painting of a brown trout. It is on a mid size stool. http://i745.photobucket.com/albums/xx100/utkm9/bigbrownstool3.jpg
