I just returned from a trip to Northwest Ontario with my dad and some of his friends. I only got in a few afternoons of Pike fishing with a fly rod, but I thought you guys would like to see a few pictures from the trip.
It took 2 float planes to get all 9 of us and our gear, food, & beverages to the backcountry cabin. Here is the second one pulling into the dock.

Average size Walleye on the lake was 17-18". Here I am holding one of them. They were delicious at dinner, baked or fried.

We saw several Bald Eagles, but this was the first Golden Eagle I have ever seen. It was a massive bird, and a beautiful creature. Its was guarding a nest the size of a small house that was nearby.

Here I am with the big Walleye of the trip. 28" & released back into the lake with a tail-whip of fury.

It was a great trip. We have used Nestor Falls Outfitters for the last 8 years and they provide a top notch service with great facilities, & great lakes.
