Nice fish. I am glad to hear that the fishing is still good.

Adam yeah you should have skipped work. The water was off color and moving strong but I like it that way I don't have to be real stealth and can catch fish. I'm paddling over to Eagle Creek on Saturday and staying the night I hope the water is still moving well on that side of the park.

Glad to see your still fishing up there.
Nice looking fish!
I am going to try to get up there in the next couple of weeks.

Scott I tried to get through to the backcountry office today to make a reservation for the 16th of October....all I got was a busy signal or no answer shoot me a e-mail and let me know where and when you'll be in who knows I might be in that area and stop by and say hello. I will never forget the day I met you I had been fly fishing for like 3 days and you tied my tippet on for me.......too funny I guess we all had to start somewhere.
I am paddling my kayak to Eagle Creek campsite #90 on Saturday I hope to be there and set up by 1PM so i can head up the creek for some fishing I've never fished it but have hiked it from the top and seen some really nice looking water over there. I'll be on Deep Creek the weekend of October 22nd
This time of year I get out as often as I can.
Thanks for the report Spotlight!
Looks like some nice browns and sounds like good water.
I'm hoping to hit LR next weekend, this post just makes me itch to get there! Of all the luck I break my BIIx 5 weight the week before I'm coming out too!! Just Fed Exed it a few minutes ago, may be Thanksgiving before I get it back.
I'm gonna fish my 4 wt. TFO next week I guess and then my only other backup will be a 3 wt which I seldom use.

Glad to help last year.
Yes we all start somewhere. Someone helped me out at one time, and we just pass down what we learn.
You are going to have to show me how to fish those Smokie Mt. streams sometime soon.
It looks like you are doing well up there.
I will shoot you an email before I head up there. Looking to go in the next two or three weeks.

Scott I have an extra reservation spot at campsite 71 on Forney Creek 7 of us going so far but I'm the only one fishing. It's on the NC side of the park just a hop skip and a jump up from Chatt let me know if your interested. I have yet to fish Forney so it's all new to me....I'm playing fish hookie tomorrow and heading to Elkmont area again.

Kevin. When are you going to Forney?
I need to take one of those fish hookie days myself.
I have this Saturday free. My wife and kids are going to an event for the day.
I may try to get up there for the day.
