Little River Float

I am hoping to float the Little River down to River Johns. Any advice on water depth and floating a canoe while fishing for smallmouth would be appreciated.

What depth/flow is acceptable? We do not want to walk the canoe to much although some would be expected.

What flies or spin baits are best? We will take turns fly fishing and spin fishing. Thanks in advance.

That's a great float from perry. Mill to river johns. I like for there to be at least 160 cfs for a canoe or yak. Don't get hung up on fishing the upper section to long and have to padde hard to the takeout, you'll miss some great water. before you get down to river johns. Some canyons with steep rock cliffs. The normal flies work. Buggers, black and yellow poppers,clousers, zuddlers, etc. Don't discount fishing for bream either. They are plentiful and fun on light tackle.
