Fall time fishing

I got out on some water today, I had to take advantage of this gorgeous October weather. Went to a pond not too far from home. The topwater bite was on and they all took medium sized poppers in chartruse and white. Fished from about 11:30 til 3:00, and landed 8 Bluegills/Bream, and one Largemouth pushing 13in and 2lbs.What Great Time!

Nice fish.

Here in Northern Kentucky, the fishing season is winding down. Freeze warnings tonight and the water is cooling off rapidly.

Probably only a few short days left then a looooong winter...
